In Tbilisi, police have detained a citizen of Ukraine. He was involved in protests against the results of the parliamentary elections.

According to the television channel, the Ukrainian citizen was detained on one of the streets of Tbilisi. Law enforcement informed the Ukrainian that he was arrested as part of an ongoing criminal case related to the organization of group violence, leadership, participation in it, and committing a criminal act.
Rustavi2 reports that a pepper spray canister and a mobile phone were allegedly seized from the Ukrainian's backpack.
The Ukrainian was taken to a police station. Journalists note that he could face up to 9 years in prison.
