In the Voznesensky District of the Mykolaiv region, a soldier threw a grenade onto the premises of the territorial recruitment center. A preventive measure has been chosen for him.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Central District Court of Mykolaiv on Facebook.

The incident occurred at the end of February. According to the materials of the petition, the soldier, who had gone to the SOCH, threw an F-1 grenade onto the territory of the TCK while being under the influence of alcohol.

As a result of the explosion, two TCK vehicles were damaged. They are now inoperable.

"At the court hearing, the man explained that he indeed threw a grenade onto the territory of the TCK while under the influence of alcohol after a quarrel with his wife. He found the grenade among his belongings in his backpack," the court clarified.

The defense requested a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for the suspect.

"Judge Ivan Dirko decided to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention without determining the amount of bail," the court added.

Incidents Involving Grenades

Recall that last summer, in Lutsk, an unknown person threw a grenade into a crowd of people. As a result of the incident, there were casualties.

Also, in June of last year, in Kyiv, a man threw a grenade towards a high-rise building. A woman was injured.
