An alarm has been declared in Kyiv due to threats from Russian "Shahed" drones.
The Russian Federation launched "Shahed" type drones over Ukrainian territory on the evening of Thursday, December 5. Air raid alerts have been declared in Kyiv and several regions.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing KMVA, Air Forces, and the Air Raid Alerts Map.
According to the Air Forces, enemy drones are moving across Ukraine from various directions. They have been detected in the eastern and northern regions.
"Attention! An air raid alert has been declared in Kyiv! We urge everyone to urgently seek shelter in civil protection facilities," the KGVA reported.
The Air Forces stated that enemy drones are moving in different directions:
- in Sumy region - through Hlukhiv and Romny heading towards Chernihiv;
- in Chernihiv region, drones are moving towards Kyiv region;
- in Poltava region, drones have been spotted in the suburbs of Poltava;
- in Kyiv region, drones are present around Brovary, Boryspil, and Dymer.
We remind residents of the regions where the alert has been declared to remain calm and seek shelter in case of threat. Filming the operation of air defense is prohibited in Ukraine.
