On the morning of January 18, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted searches at the home of Max Nazarov. He is a well-known former presenter who worked for the channels of oligarchs Viktor Medvedchuk and Yevhen Murayev.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing sources in the SBU.

"The SBU conducted searches at Max Nazarov's place (real name - Nazar Dioridtsa). He is a well-known former presenter who worked for Medvedchuk's and Murayev's channels," sources stated.

After the onset of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, he continued to invite pro-Kremlin experts to his YouTube broadcasts and justify Russian aggression.

In particular, according to the SBU, during interviews, both the host and the studio guests repeatedly attempted to justify the war crimes of the occupiers, specifically the missile strikes on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.

"A frequent guest of the subject was another pro-Kremlin blogger, who in February 2024 was already suspected by SBU investigators. At that time, the court chose a preventive measure for him - house arrest, but subsequently, the blogger continued his subversive activities in the interests of Moscow," the SBU stated.

According to RBK-Ukraine sources, this refers to Dmytro Korniychuk. Both individuals publicly attempted to discredit Ukraine on the international stage and destabilized the socio-political situation within the country.

The judicial-linguistic examination initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of criminal offenses committed by both bloggers. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is currently being decided. They face up to 8 years in prison with property confiscation.

As reported earlier, The Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicions against six more occupiers, including the guard of the Russian "war correspondent" Yevgeny (Zakhar) Prilepin.
