The provider "Lanet" reported a security breach involving the distribution of malicious SMS messages.

Hackers have compromised the pages of the provider "Lanet." Additionally, the intruders carried out a provocative mailing.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a message on Facebook.

"Our official page on X (Twitter) was hacked, and messages were sent via Viber using an alpha name. Access to X (Twitter) has now been restored," the message states.

Currently, the internet service provider is urging users not to click on suspicious links and to refrain from responding to messages that may come from accounts claiming to be "Lanet."

It is important to note that all official information is currently published only on the official website and verified social media accounts of the provider.

Not the first hacker attack in Ukraine

Recall that last year hackers carried out the largest external cyberattack on the state registries of Ukraine. The operations of the Unified and State Registries, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, were suspended.

Additionally, an outage occurred in the "Reserve+" mobile application on February 8. Users reported issues when trying to log in.
