A drunken driver caused a traffic accident during the curfew in Kyiv on March 2. Three passengers and the driver himself were injured, with the driver's blood alcohol level recorded at ten times the legal limit.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Kyiv police.

"The traffic incident occurred on March 2, around 2:00 AM, during the curfew, for which the legislation still does not provide for penalties," the statement said.

While driving on Beresteysky Avenue, the 34-year-old driver of the passenger car lost control and collided with a MAN truck that was traveling in the same direction.

"As a result of the collision, the driver, who was inebriated (2.1 promille), and three of his passengers sustained bodily injuries," the police added.

They were hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Traffic Accident in Kyiv

As previously reported, a drunken driver caused a triple accident on the road in Kyiv on February 21. He collided with a minibus and a lift, injuring a woman.

Additionally, an accident occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv on January 11. Two people were killed as a result of a collision between a minivan and a bus.
