If you come across a suspicious object, the first step is to remain calm. If possible, inform those nearby about it.
Here’s what to do if you find a suspicious object:
- be sure to call emergency lines 101 or 102 and report the discovery of the suspicious object;
- stay calm;
- warn people nearby about the suspicious object and mark or cordon it off;
- wait for rescuers at a safe distance from the object's location.
It is strictly prohibited to:
- approach the explosive object;
- pick it up, remove it from the ground, move it, throw it, hit it, or disassemble it;
- smoke or use an open flame near the location of the dangerous object;
- bring items resembling explosives into areas where people are present.
Additionally, the State Emergency Service has provided advice to Ukrainians in case they come under fire while in a vehicle.
