State institutions, schools, and hospitals across Ukraine are experiencing a wave of mass bomb threats. Here’s what we know about the situation.

On November 26th, a wave of reports regarding "bomb threats" targeting buildings across various regions of Ukraine began to circulate. Alerts about the potential danger were received by dozens of government institutions, educational establishments, and hospitals.

The wave of reports regarding "bomb threats" in several regions of Ukraine began to spread on November 26. Information about the danger was received by dozens of state institutions, educational establishments, and hospitals.

RBK-Ukraine has gathered all that is known so far about these mass bomb threats.

Wave of "Bomb Threats" Across Ukraine

Today, reports of bomb threats have emerged in most regions. According to "Suspilne", the threats concern state institutions, administrative buildings, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, in at least 13 regions. Currently, the police are already checking various sites in several regions.

Response from Law Enforcement

In a comment to RBK-Ukraine, the National Police stated that such reports of "bomb threats" are not new and may be part of the enemy's information-psychological operations aimed at destabilizing the situation in the regions.

"The National Police of Ukraine has been dealing with this type of reports for several years now, and there is an established algorithm for responding to such events. It is possible that the enemy is attempting to destabilize the situation in our state’s regions, which is why they are employing information-psychological special operations. The police have sufficient forces and resources to check each site," the police noted.

Law enforcement urges citizens to remain vigilant and to assist the police in fulfilling their duties.

It should be noted that a similar wave of reports about bomb threats to various sites spread across Ukraine in October.

Sumy

Reports of a potential bomb threat at the city council and healthcare facilities have been received by the police in Sumy. As reported by "Suspilne", law enforcement is checking 7 institutions. People have been evacuated from the premises.

Kyiv

Following a bomb threat report on November 26, the High Council of Justice in the capital ceased operations. Employees and visitors were evacuated.

Local Telegram channels report bomb threats at the Kyiv offices of the State Statistics Service and the energy company Yasno. It was also reported that educational institutions such as the "KROK" University, "Dialogue" Gymnasium, School No. 295, and others were evacuated due to the threats.

Additionally, there is information circulating online that letters reporting bomb threats were sent by a man claiming to be a combat participant.

He stated that he had planted explosives in more than 20 locations in Kyiv, including the Romanian embassy, several shopping centers like "Stolitsa", Magellan, School No. 220, clinical hospital No. 4, as well as various administrative buildings and hotels. However, the perpetrator made mistakes in some addresses.

Zaporizhzhia

As of 4:00 PM, the police received 27 reports of bomb threats to civilian and critical infrastructure in most districts of Zaporizhzhia.

Earlier, there were also reports of a bomb threat at the city administration building, but this information was not confirmed after a check by the bomb squad. Checks on other reports are ongoing, according to the regional National Police office.

Ivano-Frankivsk

Today, information about bomb threats to several educational institutions and restaurants was circulating in Ivano-Frankivsk's Telegram channels. This was confirmed by the head of the police communication sector in the region, Andriy Yatskiv, to the local publication "Informator Ivano-Frankivsk".

"We have been receiving bomb threat reports today from 11 AM to 3 PM. Bomb squad units are being dispatched to the locations. Police are responding and verifying the information," Yatskiv stated.

Kropyvnytskyi

An anonymous bomb threat report was received in the city center on November 26. It pertained to a building on Velyka Perspektyvna Street, where the Lenin Court is located. The regional National Police stated that after responding to the call, the bomb threat was not confirmed.

Lozova

On November 26, information about a bomb threat at the city council building in Lozova, Kharkiv region, emerged. The message was sent to the Lozova city council's email. All necessary services are involved in the verification process.

Izmail

Today, a bomb threat message was received at the email of the children's clinic in Izmail. The same notification was received by the administration of Lyceum No. 11. Specialists are checking the premises and evacuating people.

Cherkasy

Cherkasy's city institutions and the media branch "Suspilne Cherkasy" also received notifications about a potential bomb threat on Tuesday, November 26. Employees were evacuated, and specialists are inspecting the buildings for explosives.
