"Это сложная ситуация для Кима": в ЦПД прокомментировали неудачу северокорейских солдат в Курской области.

North Korean military forces faced a setback in the Kursk region due to their lack of preparation to counter drones and artillery. They are currently conducting evaluations with Russian commanders and their own officers.

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, this was stated by Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in Telegram.

Kovalenko mentioned that North Korean soldiers suffered significant losses and are now working on "lessons learned" with Russian commanders and their own officers.

He emphasized that it is too early to say that they will cease their active participation in the war. They are expected to continue being actively involved.

"Another major issue for Kim is that North Koreans have been captured, and there is clear documentation of the deceased Koreans. Russians were supposed to ensure maximum anonymity regarding their involvement in the battles according to initial agreements, but they failed to do so," Kovalenko wrote.

Fighting in the Kursk Region

Last summer, Ukrainian forces captured significant territories in the Kursk region of Russia. In response, Russia was compelled to involve military personnel from North Korea in the combat operations. However, due to inadequate training and language barriers, North Korean soldiers incurred substantial losses.

It is worth recalling that political technologist Taras Zagorodny assessed whether U.S. President Donald Trump could compel North Korea to stop aiding Russia in the war. During his first term, Trump tried to establish a rapport with North Korea and even met with Kim Jong-un.

We also reported that North Korean soldiers were transported to Russia by ferry and then by train. According to one of the captives among the North Korean troops, they were in complete informational isolation.
