Drone strike in Kyiv region: Emergency Services reveal the aftermath.

As a result of the nighttime airstrike on February 22, using drones in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region, one person was killed, a warehouse caught fire, and there was damage to homes, a kindergarten, and an educational institution. Emergency services showcased footage of the aftermath of the drone attack.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Emergency Service (SES).

"Last night, the enemy carried out yet another attack. As a result of Russian aggression, a person born in 1962 was killed, and a fire occurred in a warehouse," the Service stated.

Additionally, the SES informed that the following were damaged:

• a private residential house,
• a kindergarten facility,
• an educational institution,
• a store,
• and 6 vehicles.

Emergency responders reported that the fire was swiftly extinguished. This happened at one o'clock in the morning.

"A total of 68 personnel and 15 units of equipment from the SES were involved in the operations. The assessment of the consequences of the attack in the region continues," the Service added.

Night Attack of "Shaheds"

It is worth noting that yesterday evening, on February 21, air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv and several regions due to the threat of drone strikes.

It was also reported that air defense forces and assets began operations in Kyiv due to the drone strikes. Air defense was active in various districts of the capital. Later, it became known that a fire broke out in the Solomianskyi district of the capital due to debris from a UAV.

Moreover, in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region, a worker from Ukrzaliznytsia was killed due to the UAV crash. A fire also occurred in a warehouse, and buildings were damaged.
