Fighting in the Kursk Region

At the end of summer last year, Ukrainian forces captured significant territories in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This led Russia to be forced to involve soldiers from North Korea in combat operations. However, due to inadequate training and a lack of a common language, the North Korean troops suffered significant losses.

Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported that North Korean soldiers were brought to Russia by ferry and then by train. According to one of the prisoners among the North Korean troops, they were in complete information isolation.
