Businessman Dubinsky has been released from pre-trial detention on bail, according to sources.

Dnipropetrovsk businessman Leonid Dubinsky has been released from pre-trial detention. A bail of 60 million hryvnias was posted on his behalf.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing sources within law enforcement agencies.

As noted by the publication's sources, Dubinsky must now adhere to several conditions:

• not leave the locality where he resides without permission;
• notify about any changes to his place of residence and/or employment;
• refrain from contacting certain individuals;
• surrender his foreign passports for safekeeping;
• wear an electronic bracelet.

The Dubinsky Case

It is worth mentioning that it was previously revealed that Ukrainian law enforcement uncovered a scheme involving the misappropriation of over 129 million hryvnias allocated for the restoration of critical infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to NABU and SAP, several individuals are involved in the scheme, including businessman Leonid Dubinsky. He is wanted by the FBI for real estate fraud in California.

The businessman has been placed under arrest with the option to post bail of 60 million hryvnias.
