A collaborator was tried in the Kharkiv region for broadcasting Russian TV channels.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU on Telegram on November 8.

A resident of Kupiansk, a former radio station engineer, collaborated with the enemy during the occupation of the region in 2022. After the city was captured, he established broadcasts of Russian TV channels such as Channel One, NTV, and Russia-1. He often used Ukraine's digital terrestrial television to carry out these activities covertly.

Additionally, in June 2022, he gave an interview to propagandist Marianna Naumova, who called for the capture of Ukraine and mass repressions, particularly against children. The collaborator supported the Kremlin regime and expressed hope for the complete occupation of the Kharkiv region. He also participated in the filming of a staged segment about alleged humanitarian aid from Russia for local residents.

Law enforcement apprehended him after the de-occupation of Kupiansk. The court found him guilty of collaboration and justifying the aggression of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Politeka also wrote about the SBU detaining three employees of the Russian occupiers in the Kherson region, including a GRU agent and two collaborators.

As a result of the special operation, the SBU detained an agent in her premises and took measures to secure Ukrainian positions.
