In Ukraine, there are currently no specific plans to raise tariffs for utility services, and some of these rates have remained unchanged since the beginning of the war; moreover, certain tariffs have not been reviewed since 2021, as reported by Politeka.net.

This was reported to the media by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Andriy Gerus.

"There are no such plans. Although I am not sure what may happen with the water tariff and gas distribution," Gerus noted.

According to him, the last change in tariffs occurred even before the war began. At the same time, the approach to tariff policy varies across different regions of the country: some tariffs have remained unchanged since 2021, while others were adjusted even in 2023.

As Politeka reports, earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that there are no plans to increase tariffs by the end of the heating season. However, this period will conclude in just a few months.

When asked if there could be changes in tariffs after the heating season ends, Gerus replied that he had not heard of any relevant plans or discussions.
