Ostap Vyshnia once depicted our most vulnerable character traits in his immortal humorous piece "CHUKHRAINTSY."
I’d like to remind you of how he outlined 5 "deeply national traits of CHUKHRAINTSY":1. If only I knew? (
(the most characteristic trait, closely linked to the fourth and fifth)
2. I forgot.
3. I was late.
4. It will somehow work out!
(They respond this way when asked: "Is that how you do it?")
5. I knew it all along. (They say this when they see that something was done poorly. And when asked after such a response: "Why did you do it then?", they answer: "If only I knew...". Then they are asked: "So you’re saying you knew?" and they reply: "I thought it would somehow work out!)
I recalled this when many prominent politicians and experts publicly declared after Trump's victory:
"I knew it all along!"
Moreover, a certain advisor from the President's office stated that Zelensky would not sign the infamous "Wood Law" because he was too LATE to impose a veto?! Let me remind our creative rulers that the Constitution does not provide the President with the right to FORGET or BE LATE, but specifies only 2 courses of action for the GUARANTOR of the Constitution:
within 15 days, either veto the Law or sign it!
I won't even mention the other Chukhraintsy story about the tax increase law, which has been lying somewhere in the president's office since October 15 and is still neither vetoed nor signed, while the people are paying a new military tax retroactively from October 1.
Previously, they FORGOT about the Urban Planning Law, which has been hearing from the authorities for 1.5 years "SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN"!
In the Verkhovna Rada, there are also those cunning Chukhraintsy. It has already been two years since they forgot about the government bill to revoke the mandates of almost 4,000 local council deputies from banned parties like Medvedchuk-Saldo-Shariy?!And you are all still waiting for salvation from the USA and the EU?
We should replace the CHUKHRAINTSY politics of power and public opinion with UKRAINIAN ones.
That would be a VICTORY!
