The provision of housing rental subsidies for internally displaced persons (IDPs) will commence in Ukraine on January 29.
To apply for housing rental subsidies for IDPs, one must contact the Pension Fund or the Administrative Services Center (CNAП).
Thus, starting from January 29, 2025, a program for disbursing housing rental subsidies for internally displaced persons (IDPs) will be launched.
The program aims to provide partial compensation for housing rent, assisting those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
IDPs residing in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions are eligible for the subsidy.
The rental subsidy for IDPs will be granted to families whose housing rental expenses exceed 20% of the total family or individual income.
The amount of the rental subsidy for IDPs will be determined individually, taking into account the family's income level, the number of family members, and the cost of housing rent, and it will not affect the eligibility for utility payment subsidies.
To apply for housing rental subsidies for IDPs, it is necessary to submit an application to the Pension Fund of Ukraine or the CNAП and provide an official rental agreement.
A mandatory condition for receiving the subsidy is the existence of an official rental agreement that protects the rights of both the tenant and the landlord.
The agreement can be arranged at the offices of the Pension Fund or online.
