Explosions were heard in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson, leading to issues with electricity, heating, and water supply in the three southern regions of Ukraine, as reported by Politeka.net.
On the night of February 19, Russia targeted Odessa and its vicinity with strike drones, resulting in casualties, including a child, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.
“Our air defense forces were engaged in neutralizing hostile targets. As a result of the attack, civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a children's clinic, a kindergarten, windows in apartment buildings, and private vehicles,” Kiper stated.
As reported by Politeka, it is also known that four individuals were injured as a result of the enemy attack, including one child, who were hospitalized, with their condition assessed as moderate.
The enemy shelling has led to localized emergency power outages in parts of the Odessa region, while generators are being used to support critical infrastructure.
“In the Kyiv district of Odessa, heating has been suspended for some consumers. Open points of invincibility are available. All relevant services are working on the site to address the aftermath. Law enforcement is documenting further crimes committed by Russians against the peaceful population of Odessa,” the regional military administration stated.
According to monitoring groups, explosions were reported in Odessa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia, leading to power outages in these regions.
