During the declared air raid alert in Zaporizhzhia, at least several powerful explosions were heard.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"The enemy is striking the city again. At least 4 explosions have occurred in Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary reports indicate there are casualties. An alert has been declared across the region. Do not neglect safety rules," stated Ivan Fedorov.
Four employees of the State Emergency Service were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, and it is known that they have been hospitalized, Fedorov reported in a social media message.
According to preliminary information, there are about 10 injured.
As a result of the strike, residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia were damaged, windows were blown out by the blast wave, and roofs were mutilated.
Preliminary reports indicate that a man has died, and 25 people have been injured, including a two-month-old infant.
As of 05:46, it was reported that five individuals are in serious condition.
Those injured from the enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
On the evening of January 22, the Russian army also struck Zaporizhzhia, resulting in a fire in one of the city's districts.
