According to a military official, the F-16 aircraft could significantly enhance our air defense capabilities.
Balletic missiles like the X-47M2 "Dagger" remain a serious threat to our air defense in Ukraine, as stated by Alexander, the commander of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile division.
The military official mentioned that after the "Daggers," the X-22 missiles pose a danger to Ukraine.
"These missiles should never be fired at cities. The X-22 was designed to destroy aircraft carriers. However, they are currently targeting us and hitting cities, which is simply outrageous. Our air defense radars cannot detect them either. Only radio technical troops can track them," said the commander of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile division.
The F-16 aircraft could significantly relieve the burden on our air defense, as they can engage against cruise missiles, UAVs, and ground targets along the front line.
Additionally, the expert shared a concerning forecast regarding future missile strikes from the enemy.
He noted that in September and October, the Russians did not carry out mass missile strikes on Ukraine, opting instead for drone attacks using Shahed-136 with decoys.
Throughout October, there were no recorded launches of the 9M728 OTR "Iskander-K," while the enemy consistently employed the 9M723 OTRK "Iskander-M/KN-23."
"But this does not mean that the Russian occupying forces have run out of them; it indicates their accumulation," the expert reported.
