In the coming 24 hours, significant deterioration of weather conditions is expected in Ukraine.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing State Emergency Service.
As rescuers noted, due to the adverse weather, a first-level yellow hazard warning will be issued.
Specifically, in Kyiv and the surrounding areas, icy conditions are anticipated on the roads. During the night, there will be significant wet snow and accumulation of wet snow.
In Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions, wet snow and snow accumulation are expected at night. Drivers are warned about icy conditions on the roads.
As for the central part of the country, rain is possible. In Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions, wind gusts of 17–22 m/s are expected, with gusts up to 25 m/s in some southern areas.
In the west, icy conditions are forecasted on the roads.
"We urge drivers and pedestrians to be especially cautious, adhere to safety rules, and take weather conditions into account when planning trips," the State Emergency Service stated.
Today in Kyiv, wet snow is forecasted, but dry weather is expected on November 24.
At the same time, meteorologists predict that the upcoming winter may be relatively mild and not too harsh.
