Ukrainian forces struck an enemy command center in the Kursk region.

On January 2nd, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a precision strike on the command post of the occupying Russian army located in the settlement of Maryino in the Kursk region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine today, January 2, carried out a precision strike on the command post of the occupying Russian army in the settlement of Maryino, located in the Kursk region.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, all necessary measures were taken during the strike to minimize threats to the lives of the local civilian population.

"These fire strikes are primarily aimed at weakening the capability and willingness of the Russian Federation to carry out terrorist acts against the Ukrainian civilian population," the General Staff stated.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will tirelessly continue to identify and eliminate military command targets of the aggressor country.

As a reminder, today the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko, reported that a strike was made against Russian occupiers in the Kursk region on January 2.

"There was a successful strike. Significant losses were inflicted on the 810th brigade of the Russian Federation as a result," he wrote.

What is known about the 810th brigade of the Russian Federation

It is worth noting that the 810th brigade of the Russian Naval Infantry is currently based in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. However, part of the unit is engaged in combat operations in the Kursk direction.

It should be noted that on the night of December 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the location of the command post of the 810th separate brigade of the naval infantry in Lgov, Kursk region.
