Russian airstrike on Kyiv region: updated details on the aftermath of the shelling (video and photos).

In the Kyiv region, a night drone attack by enemy forces caused a fire and destruction in the Fastiv district and the city of Brovary. Rescue teams are continuing their efforts to mitigate the aftermath of the strike, with reports already confirming 3 fatalities.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Emergency Service (SES).

Emergency responders also released photos and videos detailing the consequences of the Russian drone strike on the Kyiv region.

"In the Fastiv area, debris from the UAV struck a 10-story residential building, igniting a fire and causing damage on the 6th and 7th floors," the emergency services reported.

The SES added that 150 residents were evacuated, and a man was rescued from the 6th floor, along with a woman who was trapped on the 9th floor.

Additionally, the emergency services reported that 49 rescuers and 13 units of equipment are currently working at the site, while SES psychologists are providing support to those affected. A resilience point has also been established.

"A deceased man born in 1988 has been found," the SES stated.

They also mentioned that in Brovary, enemy UAV debris destroyed a residential building, resulting in a fire that has already been extinguished over an area of 120 square meters.

"The body of a deceased man born in 1966 has been discovered, and the search for his wife, born in 1965, continues," the SES reported.

Updated: The death toll has risen to three

Later, the National Police reported that in the Kyiv region, due to the "Shahed" attack, there are now known to be 3 fatalities.

As of 7:30 a.m., damage to one multi-apartment building was recorded in one district of the Kyiv region, affecting 11 apartments.

In another district of the region, 8 private houses, 3 vehicles, a shop, a utility building, and a fence sustained damage, the police added.

"Unfortunately, three people have died. Additionally, a 26-year-old man sustained burns. The injured individual has been taken to the hospital, where he is receiving all necessary assistance," the NPU reported.

Shahed Strike in the Kyiv Region

Recall that last night, there were reports of air defense operations in the Kyiv region, where Russian strike drones were detected.

As later reported by a representative of the Kyiv regional authorities, fires broke out in residential buildings in two localities due to the crash of intercepted drones. Flames, in particular, erupted in a 10-story building.

Subsequently, local authorities informed that due to the enemy attack, two people died in two localities in the Kyiv region, with several others injured.

It was also reported that enemy drones were spotted in the capital. Furthermore, explosions were also heard in Kyiv amid the enemy drone attack.
