A veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, who sustained serious injuries in Donbas, has not received the entitled payments of 100,000 hryvnias, prompting him to file a lawsuit.

This is evidenced by data from the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

The veteran approached the court after failing to receive compensation for his treatment and rehabilitation period. In the fall of 2022, he was severely injured during shelling in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, resulting in serious health consequences: he was in a coma and underwent extensive treatment. By the end of 2022, he was declared unfit for service and removed from military records.

According to case materials, the military unit did not provide the veteran with compensation for the time he was discharged from January to July 2024. The man expected to receive monthly payments of 100,000 hryvnias for this period, but these funds were not disbursed, leading him to seek legal recourse.

The case was presided over by Judge Roman Brilevsky of the Lviv District Administrative Court. He reviewed the submitted documents, including medical certificates confirming the expenses for prolonged treatment following combat injuries. According to the documents, the veteran underwent rehabilitation at a specialized center from January to July 2024, yet no payments were made to him.
