A part of the Zhytomyr region has been left without electricity. This is due to yet another attack by Russian invaders on the energy infrastructure.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of "Zhytomyroblenergo".
"Due to the latest enemy attack on the energy infrastructure of the region, there are emergency outages in the Korosten, Zhytomyr, and Zvyagel districts," the statement reads.
Energy services are actively working to repair the damages.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities and towns has become commonplace. The aggressor is actively using various types of weaponry, including missiles, guided aerial bombs (GAB), and kamikaze drones, which cause significant damage to residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
Recently, there has been a notable increase in nighttime drone attacks, raising risks for the civilian population.
On the night of November 7, the Russians attacked Kyiv with drones. Air defense forces destroyed more than 30 drones.
