In the center of Vinnytsia, a car struck two girls at a pedestrian crossing at high speed. The injured were taken to the hospital with injuries.

It is reported that around 16:20 on Teatralna Street, a 22-year-old driver of a white Mercedes hit two girls at the pedestrian crossing.
Both victims are 19 years old; they were hospitalized with bodily injuries.
The driver has been detained. A criminal case has been opened for violating traffic regulations. The investigation is preparing materials for a notification of suspicion and for the choice of a preventive measure.
A video of the incident has surfaced online. In it, the girls are seen walking on the pedestrian crossing, yielding to a bus, looking in the other direction, and then proceeding across the "zebra." They are let through by a minibus that slows down before the crossing, but suddenly a Mercedes swerves into the right lane and hits the girls.
The impact threw the girls onto the road. People from the sidewalk rushed to help them, and some drivers also ran over to assist.

Recall that over the weekend, on the Stolichnoye Highway in Kyiv, a Mercedes-Benz route bus collided with a Hyundai minivan. As a result of the accident, the driver and seven bus passengers were injured. A man and a woman died in the minivan.
It was previously reported that in Warsaw, a minibus struck a 14-year-old Ukrainian, who died from his injuries in the hospital. The incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing, and the driver did not provide assistance to the boy, fleeing the scene and hiding the vehicle. Upon his arrest, the perpetrator was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
