Today, October 18, a car exploded in the center of temporarily occupied Luhansk. As a result, a Russian major may have been eliminated.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referring to ASTRA on Telegram, spokesperson of the "South" unit of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Serhiy Bratchuk, in Telegram, and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on Telegram.
According to ASTRA, the explosion in the center of Luhansk damaged a UAZ vehicle and a passenger car.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that occupiers may have been inside the UAZ.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has already reported that as a result of the explosion, "a man was killed and a woman was injured."
Bratchuk, for his part, assures that Russian Major Dmytro Pervukha, who was the chief of staff for troop service and security of military unit 53847, was eliminated in Luhansk.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian partisans are actively operating in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In particular, it became known last year that partisans eliminated enemy military patrols in Luhansk.
Additionally, in August, partisans managed to destroy a significant logistics hub of the occupiers in Donetsk. Through this hub, the enemy was transferring their equipment.
