In the center of Kyiv, a driver of a Toyota Highlander assaulted a female parking inspector. He not only verbally threatened her but also physically attacked her, striking her several times.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing KMGU.
"The incident occurred today (October 11, - ed.), around 10:00, on Pirogova Street, 9. Specifically, the parking inspector issued a warning to the driver of the Toyota Highlander for parking in a way that obstructed traffic," the statement said.
In response, the driver refused to move the vehicle, prompting the inspector to begin taking photographs using the "ARM-Inspector" camera to document the administrative violation.
"The driver obstructed the inspector's work, insulted her, threatened her, and physically attacked her, delivering several blows to her legs and arm. The police were promptly called to the scene. A report regarding the assault is currently under review by the investigative and operational group," the KMGU added, noting that the details of the incident were recorded on the female inspector's body camera.
As reported, on the night of September 19, two unknown individuals attacked a gas station worker in Kyiv. The men assaulted the station employee because the cashier refused to sell them alcohol.
Additionally, on September 18, an unknown individual shot a man at a gas station in Kyiv and fled the scene. The police later apprehended a suspect.
