The Ground Forces will conduct an investigation into the incident reported by the "Asgard" unit. The military noted threats, humiliation, and illegal orders "from a civilian."
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine with a link to the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk.
Last weekend, the "Asgard" unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Alexander Dmitriev (also known as "Tikhokhod") was issuing illegal orders without authority, humiliating and threatening them.
"A civilian who allows himself to interfere in the work of our unit. Specifically: giving orders to military personnel, threatening to 'break the military over his knee', and humiliating their dignity," the unit representatives stated.
In response to such statements from the fighters, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Pavlyuk, initiated a service investigation into the incident. According to him, the investigation will aim to establish the actual facts and circumstances of the event, as well as to provide a proper legal assessment of the events reported by the "Asgard" group.
"The findings and decisions will be made public. I assure all parties that justice will be ensured in full compliance with the norms of current legislation," Pavlyuk wrote.
At the same time, the Ground Forces reported that they will clarify all circumstances of the case, arguments, and evidence from both sides of the conflict.
"The actions of the participants in the conflict will be legally evaluated. During the investigation, we ask citizens to refrain from making independent emotional assessments of this situation, which may be incorrect due to the lack of complete information and contradictions in the available data," the Ground Forces emphasized.
Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported that in Ternopil, a drunk man with a deferment 'stormed' the military recruitment center because he wanted to be mobilized.
