This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing CNN.

According to ABC News, law enforcement claims that the incident involving the crowd was likely intentional, but the driver has not yet been apprehended.

All the injured individuals were admitted to five hospitals in New Orleans.

Currently, rescue workers and officials are on the scene. Further details regarding the situation remain unknown.

"A horrific act of violence occurred on Bourbon Street this morning... I urge anyone near the incident to avoid the area," - wrote Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry on his Twitter account.

One eyewitness reported hearing gunshots during the incident.

Meanwhile, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell referred to today's event as a "terrorist attack."

Recall that RBK-Ukraine previously reported that on December 20, a car drove into a crowd at a Christmas market in the city of Magdeburg, resulting in five deaths, including a child. Approximately 40 people were injured, and among the injured was a citizen of Ukraine.

Additionally, in September, the car of former vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz was involved in an accident during a trip to a campaign event in Milwaukee.
