A large fire broke out at a military hospital in the Russian city of Tula. The facility is part of the 39th Separate Medical Battalion of the Airborne Troops.

A large fire broke out at a military hospital in the Russian city of Tula. The building is part of the 39th separate medical unit of the Airborne Forces.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel Baza.

According to Russian media, the fire engulfed one of the floors of the military hospital located on Sovetskaya Street. The area of the fire is 1,000 square meters. Rescuers are already on the scene.

It is also known that the flames spread to the roof. The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the wiring. At the time of the outbreak, there were about 200 people inside.

It is still unclear what triggered the fire. Russians claim that medical staff and patients were "evacuated." No reports of injuries have been made.

Earlier, we reported that on September 13, a fire broke out at a coke gas plant in the Moscow region. Employees of the facility were evacuated.
