The OSHV "Khortytsia" denied reports of Ukrainian troops being encircled in Makaryvka.

The Russian army allegedly encircled Makaryvka, located south of Velyka Novosilka. However, this information is not accurate.

What preceded this

About a week ago, the Deep State project wrote that the defense garrison of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Makaryvka was at risk of being encircled. Today, their map indicated that the Russians had closed off the area around Makaryvka. Ukrainian military personnel are allegedly still present there.

What the military says

In OSHV "Khorytsia," it was stated that the information about the encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the settlement of Makaryvka in the Vremivka direction is not true.

"Unverified data and, consequently, false conclusions regarding the existence of such a situation are the result of analyses by certain observers and independent experts whose sources do not align with the dynamics of combat operations," the statement said.

The military also reminded that spreading information from unverified sources can not only mislead the audience but also endanger the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

The situation at the front

Recently, we reported that the Russians attacked a number of fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, resulting in their destruction. This made it impossible to maintain them further.
