The Russian occupiers struck the Mykolaiv CHPP. As a result, the city has completely lost its electricity generation capabilities.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of Mykolaiv's Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.
"I remind you that last night the enemy attacked our CHPP with several drones, leaving CHPP subscribers without heating. The electricity generation has been completely destroyed. We are currently trying to restore heating supply using alternative solutions," the mayor explained.
He noted that workers from the CHPP and Mykolaivoblteploenergo have joined forces to restore the facilities.
"Work is ongoing. Without going into details, it is indeed challenging. Thanks to our cooperation with Denmark, we received modular boilers, which allowed us to maintain heating in hospitals!" he added.
The mayor reported that throughout the day, municipal services were working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks in two districts.
We remind you that on the night of February 16, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv with drones. Around 1:00 AM, explosions were heard in the city.
