The Ministry of Defense showcased fiber-optic FPV drones that can be utilized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian manufacturers showcased over 10 models of FPV drones that can be controlled via fiber optics. These unmanned aerial vehicles are capable of carrying payloads of up to 3 kg.

Ukrainian manufacturers have showcased over 10 models of FPV drones that can be controlled via fiber optics. These unmanned aerial vehicles can carry loads of up to 3 kg.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Ministry of Defense.

According to the Ministry of Defense, these drones are currently in the final stages of codification and will be supplied for military needs.

"The event featured domestic manufacturers who presented more than a dozen drone models, including those capable of carrying loads of up to 3 kg," the statement said.

Experienced UAV operators from the Armed Forces of Ukraine positively assessed the new types of drones and expressed interest in supplying them to their units.

"The FPV drones presented at the exhibition are in the final stages of codification and will be supplied for military needs," the Ministry of Defense reported.

As explained by Colonel Yevhen Tkachenko, head of the unmanned aviation systems department at the Main Department of Innovations of the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to enhance its capabilities in using fiber optic drone control technologies. This is why it is essential to mitigate its advantages in this segment.

"Domestic manufacturers are demonstrating their readiness to quickly adapt to the modern challenges of warfare and bring the latest developments to life," Tkachenko stated.

Weapon Production in Ukraine

We remind you that earlier we reported that Ukraine has completed testing a range of UAVs with fiber-optic communication. They ensure secure control even under conditions of active use of electronic warfare tools by the enemy.

We also mentioned that Ukraine continues to implement new types of weapons. Specifically, we discussed the peculiarities of the application and technology of domestically produced missiles "Peklo" and "Ruta," as well as the laser air defense system "Trizub."
