On the night of February 18, in the city of Dolynska, Kirovohrad region, a Russian drone struck a high-rise building during an airstrike. As a result of the attack, three individuals were injured, including children.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration Andriy Raykovych.

The head of the OVA specified that among the victims was a woman with two children.

"They were immediately provided with medical assistance. The older girl did not require hospitalization," the official stated, adding that residents from a total of 38 apartments were evacuated from the building.

The administration reported that all relevant services continue to work at the site. The OVA also released footage showing the aftermath of the enemy UAV's strike on the high-rise, where a fire can be seen in the photos.

Additionally, the head of the Kirovohrad OGA informed that enemy drones also attacked the Kropyvnytskyi region that night, but there were no casualties reported.

Updated: Police document a new crime by the occupiers

As reported by the National Police of Ukraine, a high-rise building in Dolynska was damaged due to the attack by enemy drones, resulting in injuries to three people.

"Three residents sustained bodily injuries, including two children. All received medical assistance, and two were hospitalized," the statement said.

The NPU also added that the police and rescuers who arrived at the scene conducted an evacuation of residents from the entrance and are currently providing necessary assistance to the citizens.

"Information about the incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement is documenting the crimes committed by the aggressor state," the Kirovohrad police communication sector reported.

Note: The city of Dolynska is located in the Kropyvnytskyi district of the Kirovohrad region. The area of the settlement is just over 12 square kilometers. As of 2025, the city's population is 19,472 people.

In close proximity to the city of Dolynska is the well-known "long-term construction" - the Kryvyi Rih Mining and Processing Plant of Oxidized Ores (KGOKOR). The settlement is referred to as an important railway hub.

Night Attack of "Shaheds"

It was previously reported that on the eve of the attack, air raid alerts were declared in many regions of Ukraine due to the threat of an attack by the enemy's strike drones.

The alarm signal due to the danger of "Shaheds" was heard in the capital, and it was later reported about the operation of air defense in Kyiv, particularly in the northern part of the city.

Later, city authorities reported that debris from the enemy drone fell in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko informed that there was a fire at an industrial facility, as well as vehicles burning in the yard of a nearby residential building.

As reported by the KGVA, there were no casualties in Kyiv, and the debris from the enemy drone fell in a non-residential area, with a fire recorded in a storage facility.
