A night attack by "Shaheds" in the Kyiv region has resulted in casualties, with the consequences now clarified (photo included).

In the Kyiv region, in the Bucha district, as a result of a Russian airstrike using attack drones last night, one fatality has been reported. The body was recovered while extinguishing a fire in a house following the attack.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Nikolai Kalashnikov.

"The body of the deceased was found during the firefighting efforts in a two-story private house in the Bucha district. My condolences to the family and loved ones," the official stated in a publication on his Telegram channel.

He added that the fire was extinguished over an area of 200 square meters.

Additionally, the head of the OVA informed that in another settlement of the Bucha district, a girl born in 2005 was hospitalized with a head injury to the occipital region.

A man born in 1981 sustained an injury to his right hand but was not sent to the hospital. Both received medical assistance.

"According to preliminary information, as a result of the enemy attack in the Bucha district, five private homes were damaged, the windows of apartments in four multi-story residential buildings were broken, two garage facilities were destroyed, three vehicles were destroyed, and eight were damaged," reported the head of the KOVA.

The official added that operational groups "continue to work on documenting and eliminating the consequences of the enemy's nighttime attack."

Later, the State Emergency Service reported that due to the Russian attack, fires and destruction occurred, resulting in casualties and injuries.

In Kryukovshchyna of the Bucha district, debris from a UAV caused a fire in a private house (200 square meters). The fire was extinguished at 01:54. The body of the deceased was found on site.

In the city of Bucha, debris from a drone ignited a vehicle—one was destroyed, and eight others were damaged. Additionally, five houses, two garages, and windows of a multi-story building were also damaged.

Night Drone Attack

As previously reported, on the evening before, Russian occupiers launched attack drones at Ukraine, prompting air raid alerts in several regions due to the threat of "Shahed" attacks.

In the evening, there were also reports of air defense operations in Kyiv in several areas due to enemy kamikaze drones. "Shaheds" were also intercepted in the Kyiv region.

It later became known that in the Kyiv region, an attack drone from Russia hit a residential building in the Bucha district. A fire broke out at the site of the incident. At that time, there was information that a 19-year-old girl was injured in the same area as a result of the attack.

Additionally, Russian attack drones also targeted Kharkiv, with "arrivals" reported in two districts. One of the kamikaze drones struck a multi-story building, and two injuries have already been reported. According to the regional prosecutor's office, due to the enemy attack, residential buildings, a restaurant building were damaged in Kharkiv, and there are casualties.
