In Kyiv, a decline in air quality is being observed. The most severe conditions are noted on the left bank of the capital.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).

The likely cause of the deteriorating air quality is the accumulation of suspended particles. Additionally, the low wind conditions combined with high atmospheric pressure hinder the dispersion of dust.

The KCSA recommends:

• keeping windows closed;
• limiting outdoor activities;
• drinking plenty of water;
• using an air purifier if available.
