In Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine, an air alert was declared on the evening of January 25. There is a threat of missile weaponry being used.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Ukrainian Air Forces and the Kiev City Military Administration.
"Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions are under missile threat," the Air Forces warned on their Telegram channel.
At the same time, the KCMO stated that the alert in Kyiv was declared due to the threat of ballistic weaponry being used by the enemy.
"Take care of your safety: immediately go to shelters and remain there until the alert is lifted," the capital authorities urged the residents of Kyiv.
It is worth noting that last night, Russian troops shelled Ukraine with missiles and drones. The Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions were targeted.
It is known that one of the drones hit a multi-story building in Vyshneve. Five people, including children, were rescued from it.
Meanwhile, in Cherkasy, power was partially lost due to the Russian drone attack. There are also reports of damage in the Poltava region.
