In Germany, a Flixbus overturned, resulting in the death of a Ukrainian woman, according to media reports.

Last Saturday, an accident involving a Flixbus passenger bus occurred in Germany. As a result of the incident, a Ukrainian citizen lost her life.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing RMF24 and German media.

It is reported that the Flixbus was involved in the accident on Saturday, January 11. Local police believe that adverse weather conditions were the cause.

"Due to the bad weather, the bus veered off the road near a parking lot heading towards Poland and overturned," the police stated.

The bus, carrying 13 passengers, was traveling from Berlin to Szczecin, Poland. As a result of the incident, a 29-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man lost their lives.

According to the Polish resource RMF24, the deceased are a Ukrainian citizen and a German citizen. Among the injured are four individuals holding Polish passports, while another four sustained serious injuries.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver left the A11 highway to wait out the snowstorm, went onto the shoulder, and crashed into the parking barrier. The bus was tossed before it overturned onto its right side.

Recall that in November 2024, a bus with tourists overturned in Egypt. The incident occurred in the eastern part of the country near the city of Ras Sidr.

It was later revealed that more than 40 people were injured, including a Ukrainian citizen. There were no fatalities as a result of the accident.
