The General Staff reported which direction experienced the highest Russian losses in a single day.

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 169 combat engagements along the entire front line. The enemy has suffered the most losses in the Pokrovsk direction.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the Russians launched one missile strike (one missile) and conducted 35 air strikes on Ukrainian territory, dropping 60 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the occupiers employed 629 kamikaze drones and carried out over four thousand shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas.

The enemy has incurred the highest losses in the Pokrovsk direction. Since the start of today, the adversary has attacked 24 times in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Lucha, Lisovka, Zelenyi, Novyi Trud, Dachenko, and Novovasylivka. Our defenders repelled 20 assaults, with another four ongoing.

Today in this direction, preliminary reports indicate that Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 404 occupiers, of which 193 are irrecoverable. Also destroyed were a tank, nine vehicles, two automatic grenade launchers, and a satellite communication system, along with damage to an artillery system.

Situation on the Fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our units six times near Kazachya Lopani, Vysokaya Yaruha, and Volchansk.
Preliminary calculations indicate that today the enemy lost 85 servicemen killed and wounded, while our forces destroyed two artillery systems, a vehicle, five drones, and three units of special equipment of the occupiers; a vehicle and one unit of special equipment were significantly damaged.

In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor conducted offensive actions near Petropavlivka and Kruhlyakivka. Ukrainian defenders halted two enemy attacks. Two more combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 19 times near Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Ternovy, and Ivanivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled two assaults by the occupying forces towards Verkhnokamenske and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed our positions near Stupochky twice but was repelled.

In the Toretsk direction, fighting is currently ongoing, with Ukrainian units repelling four attacks in the area of Toretsk and Druzhba today.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy made 13 attempts to break through our defenses near Staryi Terniv, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Eight combat engagements have concluded, while five are still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked our units 41 times near Uspenivka, Yantarnyi, Novosilka, Blahodatne, and in the directions of Razliv and Otradne. Fighting is ongoing, with Ukrainian defenders repelling 29 enemy assault actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, the invading forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces seven times near Novoandriivka and Piatykhatky, with one combat engagement still in progress.

In the Dnipro direction, our forces repelled two attacks, with the enemy achieving no success.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders today repelled 39 enemy attacks, with fierce fighting currently underway.

As a reminder, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, from December 20 to 21, Russia lost 1860 soldiers at the front. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 10 tanks, 32 artillery systems, and 98 units of automotive equipment.
