Today, November 22, an explosion occurred in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. As a result of the incident, a man lost his life.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Kyiv police on Telegram.
According to law enforcement, information about the explosion in the Dnipro district was received around 3:00 PM.
"Preliminary investigations indicate that a citizen approached a vehicle next to which there was a box. After the man picked it up, it detonated. The victim died on the spot from the injuries sustained," the police clarified.
Authorities are working to identify the deceased. A forensic investigative group, explosives experts, a forensic medical expert, and other services are on the scene.
Recall that at the end of June, a man detonated a grenade in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv. More than ten vehicles were damaged as a result.
At the man's home, five more grenades and about 40 rounds of ammunition were found.
Additionally, on September 8 in Lubny, a man exploded a grenade near a supermarket. One person died, and three others were injured.
