In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 135 miners were trapped underground following an accident. All of them were rescued, and the incident was successfully resolved.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the accident occurred at one of the stations in the underground workings of a mining enterprise in the region. As a result, 135 miners became trapped at a depth of over 1300 meters.

The rescue operations have been completed. All 135 miners have returned home safe and sound," the message states.
Recall that in June 2024, a collapse occurred at the 'Vozrozhdenie' mine located in the village of Mezhyrechye in the Chervonohrad district of Lviv region. As a result of the incident, two miners lost their lives.
