Ukrainian defenders shot down two "Shahed" drones over Kyiv, with one exploding nearby (video).

Ukrainian forces shot down two "Shaheds" during the latest drone attack over Kyiv. However, one of the drones damaged their vehicle.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine with a link to the 210th Separate Assault Regiment on Telegram.

"Our Brothers, who are defending the skies of Kyiv, destroyed two 'Shaheds' during the Russian attack. One of them exploded right next to them, damaging the combat vehicle," the video caption reads.

According to the military, the first video shows the use of a machine gun against one of the drones, which was accurately shot down.

The second video depicts the destruction of a drone at close range.

Recall that the Russian army launches strike-type "Shahed" drones over Ukrainian territory every night. In recent days, their numbers during nighttime attacks have exceeded several hundred. For instance, on the night of February 24, the invaders launched 185 drones from five different directions.

Last night, air defense (PVO) was active in the Kyiv region. Prior to this, air raid alerts were declared in several regions. Due to the attack, there are damages and casualties in the Zhytomyr region.

On the night of February 25, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with over 210 unmanned aerial vehicles.
