In August, news emerged about a Ukrainian development, specifically the drone missile "Palianytsia," which has already been deployed.
Thus, Ukraine successfully utilized the new drone missile named "Palianytsia," striking a military target of the Russian Federation in occupied territory.
Later, some specifications of "Palianytsia" were revealed.
The Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, stated that "Palianytsia" serves as both a drone and a missile.
"Palianytsia" meets the criteria for both definitions based on its tactical and technical characteristics.
It is known that "Palianytsia" features a solid-fuel booster and a jet engine; however, details regarding its warhead and guidance system have not been disclosed.
The drone missile "Palianytsia" is launched from a ground platform, with a striking range of up to 700 kilometers.
During the United24 project presentation, it was mentioned that approximately twenty Russian airfields fall within its range, including Savasleyka, Morozovsk, Engels-2, Shaykovka, Dyagilevo, and Millerovo.
The development of "Palianytsia" took one and a half years, and the cost of the drone missile is less than one million dollars, making it cheaper than its counterparts. Furthermore, there are plans to reduce the production cost of "Palianytsia" in the future.
