Украина подтвердила атаку на химический завод в Брянской области.

The Ukrainian military launched a precise strike on the Bryansk chemical plant located in the town of Seltso. This facility is a strategic asset of Russia's military-industrial complex.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Ukrainian Drone Forces.

According to the UDF, the plant manufactures gunpowder, explosives, and components for rocket fuel.

In particular, it produces ammunition for artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), aviation, cruise missiles "Kh-59", TOC-1 "Tosochka" armaments, the remote mining system "Zemledelie," and also carries out major repairs of MLRS "Grad," "Uragan," and "Tornado-G."

"This operation exemplified coordination between intelligence, missile troops, reactive artillery, and drone systems. Drones successfully distracted Russian air defense, clearing the way for missiles that accurately struck key targets. Additionally, long-range drones eliminated substations and other critical infrastructure following the missile strike," the report states.

Attack on the chemical plant in Bryansk

Last night, Russian media began reporting an attack on the chemical plant that produces gunpowder, explosives, and solid fuel components for rocket fuel. The facility belongs to the "Techmash" holding, which fulfills Russia's state defense order.

Previously, the plant in Bryansk region was attacked by drones in April 2024. During that incident, a fire broke out in an unfinished building. Meanwhile, in another building, a drone punctured the roof.

It should be noted that several regions in Russia were attacked last night. Locals reported both drone and missile strikes. For more details, read the article by RBK-Ukraine.
