On the evening of Monday, February 24, the Russian Federation launched strike drones of the "Shahed" type towards Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Air Forces and the Air Raid Alert Map.
According to the Air Forces, the Russian army launched several groups of drones from different directions.
The first drones were moving from the Black Sea and the northern border of Ukraine. Enemy drones were also spotted at the border of the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
Additionally, at 22:16, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. The city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko reported, that air defense forces were engaged with enemy drones.

Meanwhile, monitoring channels reported the departure of a group of strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region.
If the flight is combat-related, missile launches are expected approximately between 04:00 - 05:00, with entry into Ukraine's airspace around 05:00 - 06:00.

The enemy resorts to drone attacks almost every night. In particular, on the night of February 23, the Russians launched a record number of drones at Ukraine.
