Russia possesses only a limited number of experimental missiles that have been launched at Dnipro, with the quantity being merely a handful.
A source in the General Staff reported this.
According to the source, the launch of this missile by the Kremlin was a demonstrative act aimed at intimidation and showcasing their determination.
It is also known that this missile resembles the "Yars" missile system in its type.
"The United States has systems capable of intercepting such missiles, like the THAAD system. Ukraine will initiate negotiations to seek ways, in conjunction with its partners, to counter such weaponry – either by acquiring the relevant systems capable of intercepting them or by modernizing Patriot systems," the source stated.
On the morning of Thursday, November 21, the Russian army struck the city of Dnipro. According to the Air Force, the RF was the first to use an intercontinental ballistic missile against Ukraine.
Later, media reported that the strike might have been carried out using the "Rubezh" missile; for more details, read the RBK-Ukraine article.
Just yesterday evening, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced in a speech that Russia launched a medium-range missile "Oreshnik" at Ukraine. This is likely the aforementioned "Rubezh."
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the RF attacked Dnipro using the "Kedr" missile system.
