Over the past month, the average price of liquefied gas at gas stations has increased by 1.63 UAH/liter, reaching 34.85 UAH/l.
According to the industry publication enkorr, referencing the price monitoring of the A-95 Consulting Group, the price of autogas has risen by more than 6 UAH per liter since the beginning of autumn, fully offsetting the increase in excise taxes.
Significant price hikes have been observed in regional networks such as VostokGaz in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Ru Group in Kirovohrad. There, prices increased by 3 UAH in October, reaching 35.49 UAH/l, and have risen by 6.5 UAH since the start of autumn. A less noticeable increase occurred in the UPG network, where the price went up by 0.83 UAH due to a previous increase in September to 34.02 UAH/l.
In the "Avantage 7" network, prices remain among the lowest in the country at 32.95 UAH/l. However, even here, autogas has risen by 2 UAH in October and by 5.5 UAH since the beginning of autumn. Minor reductions are observed only in certain regions: in the Zhytomyr region at Marshal (31.9 UAH/l) and in the Mykolaiv region at "BRSM-Naft" (32.29 UAH/l).
In the coming years, excise taxes on fuel are planned to be gradually increased. For liquefied gas, the excise tax rate will rise from 148 euros to 250 euros per 1,000 liters from 2024 to 2028. This indicates that the rise in liquefied gas prices at gas stations is likely to continue, which may lead to new fluctuations in the fuel market in Ukraine.
