The court has sent the head of KRAIL, Rudoy, to pre-trial detention.

The court has chosen a preventive measure for Ivan Rudy, the head of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries. He will remain in pre-trial detention until February 4, 2025.

This was reported by Tatiana Sapyian, spokesperson for the State Bureau of Investigations, in a comment to RBK-Ukraine.

According to her, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has placed Rudy in custody without the possibility of bail. As per the court's decision, he will be held in pre-trial detention until February 4, 2025.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, Rudy was detained by officers from the State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General. He is suspected of facilitating the operations of a Russian online casino in Ukraine and illegally possessing drugs.

Law enforcement officials seized a large quantity of cocaine from him during searches.

According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, he may have been supporting the operations of the online casino Pin-Up, which is owned by Russian nationals.

Additionally, it is important to remember that in April of this year, President Volodymyr Zelensky enacted a decision by the National Security and Defense Council that restricted the activities of online casinos in Ukraine.
