The Khmelnytskyi region experienced the longest air raid alert since the start of the full-scale invasion, lasting for 11 hours. During this time, the air defense forces successfully destroyed 10 enemy drones.
This was announced by the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, as reported by RBK-Ukraine, referencing his message on Telegram.
"The exact location of the debris is being determined. As of this hour, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities," he noted.
As a result of the attack, windows in a residential building, a garage, and a vehicle were damaged. Relevant services are working at the scene.
Since the onset of Russia's full-scale aggression, shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages has become commonplace, causing significant destruction and posing a threat to the civilian population.
Russian troops employ various types of weaponry, including missiles, guided aerial bombs, and Iranian kamikaze drones. The frequency of drone attacks has noticeably increased, now occurring almost every night.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Litvynenko warns that Russia may soon renew mass attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, likely coinciding with the start of the heating season.
On the night of October 28, Russia attacked Ukraine using 100 Shahed strike drones and drones of undetermined type. The air defense forces managed to destroy 66 of them.
