Russians are destroying all homes: Ukrainian forces share updates on the ongoing defense of Kurakhove.

The Russian army is attempting to destroy all homes in Kurakhovo. By doing so, the occupiers are eliminating all places where the Armed Forces of Ukraine can establish defenses.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the representative of the Joint Forces Operation "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, during a telethon.

According to him, in Kurakhovo, the Russians are trying to demolish even low-rise buildings in the city. As a result, there is simply nowhere to hold a defense since there are virtually no fortifications.

"Any house is a fortification. If there is just scorched earth, then it is impossible to maintain a defense. Such tactics have likely been actively used by the Russians since the days of the Donetsk airport, and they have applied it in Kurakhovo. That is why their operation there is taking so long," Trehubov explained.

He noted that the Russians are trying to dismantle the city piece by piece. Despite this, the Ukrainian military is managing to destroy the Russian army and strike at their bases.

"Currently, the situation in Kurakhovo is quite severe because a significant part of the city has been destroyed. Ukrainian cities are holding on in the western part, particularly on its western outskirts, including maintaining the thermal power station located in the city," he emphasized.

The Situation in Kurakhovo

Let us remind you that the Kurakhovo direction remains one of the most intense. In particular, there were reports of the encirclement of Ukrainian troops in the area of the settlements of Uspenivka and Trudove near Kurakhovo. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied this information and stated that the troops had been withdrawn.

Today, it was also reported that the Russian army continues to storm the urban development of Kurakhovo. Efforts are ongoing to localize and eliminate the enemy's assault groups.
